A new boy in town!

imageI’m still sad that Surge won’t be the centre of my binoculars anymore.

But…

There’s a new boy in town and he might catch my attention.  Check out Ossie and his bio as listed by the wonderful Hamilton falcon watchers who managed to figure out who he is:

Wednesday, March 11, 2015 – Based upon a slightly blurry look at leg bands this afternoon, we have tentatively identified the new male at the Hamilton nest as a bird that was banded in 2012 at the William Osler Hospital in Etobicoke. His parents were Hurricane (male) and Chessie (female). This is “tentative” until we can get a clearer look at the bands, to be sure that the upper character is the letter “O” and not the number “0”, as it is the former that identifies him as Ossie. So for now, that’s what we’ll be calling him. Welcome to Hamilton, Ossie!  Source: http://falcons.hamiltonnature.org

Grateful for:

  • receiving a pay cheque for what I LOVE to do — learn & lead
  • an awesome late afternoon conversation with my superintendent who always makes me think

Curious About:

  • how will I facilitate our next Principal Learning Team (PLT)?
  • will we even have a PLT?
  • what is the potential for ‘drift’ in an organization, particularly my PLT
