More about video game addiction(s)

A couple weeks ago I met someone with a video game addiction, specifically to “Call of Duty.” It a serious condition, but relatively isolated, or so I thought.

In an almost repeat story, I heard a different person explain what it’s like to be online 12+ hours a day and to be ‘pretty good at gaming.” It seems that the rush of power, control, competence, and confidence all mixed together in the danger of the fictional world makes it hard to come down from the high and live normally in every day life.

The problem is real….and it seems to be affective teens profoundly.

Grateful for:

  • family, even though we are far away
  • end of school!

Curious about:
