Video game addiction

Recently I’ve had reason to think that video games can be addictive, especially for boys ages 14-15, it seems. My data is not scientific, just anecdotal, but demands that I learn about potential solutions as soon as possible.

So…the learning curve today is a first-pass-Google-investigation. Surprisingly, there is a lot about this subject and the bigger task is to sift through the readings and look for trends. I’ll report back sometime once I’ve digested the big ideas.

Grateful for:

  • skilled leaders
  • YouTube and the ease at which I can find instructional materials

Curious about:

  • EQAO results for literacy
  • EQAO math test tomorrow
