GFCI outlets

Today several outlets seemed to keep kicking off and we couldn’t figure out why. It had rained earlier and after much mucking about we finally decided that the outdoor water fountain/bird bath the garden must have been sitting in water somewhere and the GFCI outlet knew enough to kick it off the grid. Unfortunately, that little actions takes other outlets with it.

So…not knowing much about such matters, I made it an intentional learning activity and went to a fav place, How Stuff Works.

If you want to know what GFCI stands for, and how it works, just click here.

Grateful for:

  • a wonderful Israel trip party and lots of fun looking at all the pictures
  • a home that can accommodate a fun party
  • the wonderful athletic banquet on Thursday (my very legitimate excuse for not plogging much this week)
  • our kids and friends all being together and heading to Seattle

Curious about:

  • Knowledge mobilization….what is it? How does it work? How can I learn more and be equipped more?
