Me to We

Me to We is an organization started by Craig and Mark Kielburger and it provides incredible opportunities for young people to serve at home and abroad. Today two Me to We speakers delivered two assemblies at school. Their talk highlighted a recent movie, The Soloist, which tells the story of a classical cellist who also experiences homelessness.  Excellent story, and the news reporter who stumbled on to the situation does a great job.

Grateful for:

  • Dr. Patterson and Donna…most excellent and knowledgeable specialists in geriatric care
  • a courageous teen who spoke up and did what’s right, even though it’s dangerous

Curious about:

  • the difference between Creole and French and how I could quickly learn one of those languages…better choose French since I know more of that already
  • how to communicate in a group where there are four different languages, and no one person knows all four
