Cornstarch and flour

Tonight I learned that it’s OK to substitute 2x as much flour for cornstarch in a lemon pie recipe.  Cornstarch was no where to be found and so a quick google lesson confirmed that flour works just as well as a thickener. Here’s the proof.

Grateful for:

  • a new thermomoter for checking fevers
  • Jell-o for a sickie
