iPhone learning curve

Technology has a mind of its own, and I’m no mind reader. That said, my iPhone and I are getting along…provided the current sync cycle successfully retrieves all of my First Class contacts and calendar entries.

They were ALL there earlier this evening. Then I set up the mail server and presto…all the other things vanished. No fear, the night is young and I’m determined to learn this gadget.

Lessons mastered so far include: taking photos, emailing via gmail, entering calendar events, sending and receiving phone calls, thumbing on the keypad

Grateful for:

  • coffee with Kim
  • Sonos system which keeps me happily connected to music of my choice anytime, anywhere
  • old “I Love Lucy” episodes on DVDs

Curious about:

  • how to magnify text on the iPhone
  • how to use the iPhone GPS functions
  • IB big picture, all in time for our visit later this week
  • school data, all in time for our Student Success visits coming up
